All furniture contents has to be emptied and contents boxed separately.
For unlisted items a surcharge will be applied. Box number estimates can vary so please try to be as accurate as possible.
Please use smaller robust, double core, boxes for books and LP's.
For house key waiting times on house purchases a £15 per porter per hour waiting fee will be applied. (Excluding our lunch break hour)
Please arrange for cookers and washing machines to be disconnected. We do not reconnect electrical appliances as policy.
Please box up lamp-shades and lamps as these items are usually fragile in nature.
Pictures, mirrors and TV,s that have no box will be carefully wrapped and packed by our team and do not require wrapping.
If you do not use our packing services then no GIT insurance will be applied to glass and ceramic items packed by a 3rd party.
No GIT insurance will be applied to MFI / Chipboard furniture that is not flat packed.
All fixtures should be removed and bagged with the bag taped to the unit. TV's and electrical appliances are insured for surface damage only.

Our extra large Luton Van is 21 Cubic meters capacity which is 4 Cubic meters larger that a standard Luton van that you usually hire with a van hire company.
We can accommodate most 2 bed and most 3 bed small houses.
We can dismantle and reassemble beds and wardrobes, large furniture that was built in house as flat packs. For larger moves we may visit the day before your move to prepare your furniture for loading.
We require a list of goods to assess whether we can get all your goods in our van. For local moves we may need a second trip such as for garden furniture and garage goods.
For longer distances we may require a second van.
We also require a list of goods to satisfy our Goods in Transit Insurers requirements.
We do not need to know all the contents of boxes, suitcases and bags just the estimated quantity.

Depending on your move we can supply two or three porters.
For local moves after loading the van we usually allow one hour for lunch. After that our policy on waiting for keys are that we have standing fee of £40.00 per hour for 2 x porters and £55 per hour for 3 x porters.
20% booking deposit for local moves and full payment for intercity / national moves.
Your 20% booking deposit secures a future moving date for our van and porters. If this date changes then we can offer you our next available date.
Estimates are for up to 21 Cubic meters of van space:
Inclusive of Fuel, accommodation if needed. Fees vary depending on the number of porters required. If loading an excess number of boxes along with bulky items three porters may be used. For low box numbers only two porters are used.
Fees are in the ball park of:
£300 - £600 for full van load at 0 miles from Dundee.
£600 - £850 for full van load at 75 miles from Dundee.
£850 - £1200 for full van load at 200 miles from Dundee.
£1200 - £1500 for full van load at 300 miles from Dundee.
£1500 - £2000 for full van load at 400 miles from Dundee.
£2000 - £2250 for full van load at 500 miles from Dundee.

We are a professional moving company local and long distance that provides high-quality moving services across the country. Our team of experienced movers will ensure that your move is stress-free and your belongings are safely transported to your new destination.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Customer Quotations and Services · To produce and supply all customers with written estimates or quotations, including the terms of payment. · All estimates or quotations will include the terms and conditions of business and a description of what services will be provided. · All estimates or quotations will be provided on an email showing the removals firm’s details, including name, address, telephone numbers and email address. · Conduct towards customers will be direct, efficient and professional at all times. · Insurance is offered by Manwithvan.info, a document detailing the terms of insurance can be supplied to the customer on request before the work takes place.
2. Cancellations or Changes to Service by Manwithvan.info. Services provided by Manwithvan.info will be confirmed in writing to the customer. These should not be altered substantially or cancelled. If the services are considerably altered or cancelled by the Manwithvan.info, the customer will be notified immediately by Manwithvan.info. Exceptions can be made if a situation occurs which is beyond the removals firm’s reasonable control (i.e. adverse weather conditions).
2.1 Deposits . Manwithvan.info will request a deposit to secure future booking dates for clients. This usually is 20% for local moves and full fee for intercity and UK national moves. For cancellations over 90 days a £100.00 booking administration fee is deducted from the deposit and the remaining balance is returned to the client within 10 working days.
3. Staff and Removals Team Manwithvan.info will agree to uphold regular training sessions for staff to ensure that all staff, including surveyors, drivers, porters and packers, have the sufficient knowledge and experience to perform the work required by them. Both permanent and casual staff will be trained to a professional standard.
4. Fleet and Equipment Manwithvan.info agrees that all vehicles used for business are appropriate for their purpose of removals and suitably maintained; inside and outside. All vehicles will be registered with the Department of Transport and operated in accordance to their regulations. Manwithvan.info agrees that the equipment used is in a condition that is appropriate for their purpose and complies with Health and Safety standards.
5. Storage Should the customer require storage facilities, the customer will agree a detailed list of items going into store, including a record of any existing markings or damage! Manwithvan.info will also retain a copy of the confirmed inventory. Manwithvan.info will only provide storage facilities that are clean, secure and weatherproof.
6. Complaints and Disputes
Manwithvan.info agrees to reply in writing within 10 working days to any correspondence concerning complaints. Complaints will be approached promptly and with courtesy.

7.2 Claims If at any time a customer needs to make an insurance claim the Manwithvan.info will promptly forward any necessary documents to the customer, insurers and any parties involved for the claim to be processed.
8. Promotion and Communication All claims made by Manwithvan.info through any medium or means of communication, will be truthful and accurate. Advertising will not be false or misleading.
All Terms and Conditions produced by Manwithvan.info will be even-handed, impartial and comply with English / Scottish Law (as appropriate).
